Science Is Important!

At Bubble Buddies Bay, our passion for the ocean runs as deep as the Mariana Trench! Every day, as we uncover more about our blue planet, our commitment to its well-being grows. But, in an ocean of information, ensuring every drop of knowledge we share is correct is a big responsibility. We knew we needed more than enthusiasm; we needed robust science.

We sought out experts who could not only confirm our stories but give the latest, most accurate insights into the challenges and accomplishments of our waters.

HCMR & Us

We are thrilled to announce our official collaboration with the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR). "Hellenic," of course, means Greek, and this important governmental research organisation is based south of Athens, right in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea. HCMR is a powerhouse of marine knowledge, dedicated to understanding and protecting the intricate balance of marine ecosystems and biodiversity from the effects of climate change and pollution.

From our very first conversation, it was clear that HCMR shared our vision and embraced the spirit of Bubble Buddies Bay. Their enthusiasm for engaging the younger generation and their families in ocean literacy resonated with our mission. This partnership is a confluence of creativity and scientific rigour.

With HCMR's profound expertise, we can now ensure that our educational content – from our interactive materials for schools to the talks delivered by the HCMR biologists and scientists – is not only fun but correct. This means our little ocean explorers will always receive the most legitimate information straight from the source.

Together, we're building a stronger, smarter wave of ocean guardians, ready to protect our shared blue future!
