DEEP-SEA-ROBOT
Underwater explorers with cameras, lights, and tools that dive where it’s dark and deep. Some are controlled by pilots with long cables (ROV), others are robot subs that drive themselves using a plan (AUV).
Why it matters: They map the seafloor, film new creatures, take samples, and check on reefs without hurting the ocean.
Fun fact: With game-like joysticks, ROV pilots steer a claw to grab shells 2,000 meters down, while they stay dry on deck!
